How would 2002 pan out for us?
Little did we know at the time that it
would very nearly be the end of the road!

All good things come to an end As the dust settled after Christmas and new year,we got back to business with a gig at the Sarey`s on Jan 5th 2002.By now rumours had been spreading about the Sarey`s closing. They changed form week to week.Sometimes Brian and Karen reckoned they would be working for new management, then they were being thrown out.
It was all a bit unsetteling for us.We had come to rely on the Sarey`s so much and the prospect of finding a new practice venue was not good.

When the doors of the Sarey`s finally closed in March we all descended on the pub like vulture`s and took loads of souveniers.

New Rehearsal Venue:Barrat`s Wine Bar
Not quite the Sarey`s
Anyone fancy a Hot Vomit? The gigs kept coming and we played our first wedding gig in February for Sharon from the Fleur-De-Leys.Not the best of gigs, and we decided we were`nt going to be a wedding band.

Phil had managed to get us into our first working mans club as well.
The Greaves Club in Bishops Itchington was a strange venue.
Think of village of the damned and your pretty close.
The hard rocking pub band was getting some odd venues for the new year.

Also in February, our original website went t*ts up,when Hotvomit pulled the plug. With 1800 hits,it had attracted a good following, and lots of classic features were lost for good.
"Oh Matron" and "Doris of the Week" was no more.

Our original website server:Hot Vomit
I only chose this one because the name sounded so rock `n roll
Back to the Future Back to serious rock n roll in March, when I persuaded my old band,Warehouse to do a support slot with us at the Wheatsheaf. It was good to play with the boys for the first time 5 years. The resulting website brought back a lot of good memories.

Around this time we had to look for another PA.Dodgy Dave, the sound engineer from Embryo`s,had become a regular hanger on to us.He so called experience shone through when he blew our PA speakers then ripped off Phil for a monitor.

As the summer rolled round the destructive force that would lead to chaos as the year
drew to a close was soon to be unleased.
