Carry On Camping
I cant remember who came up with idea,but when it was suggested that we all pack up our tents and go off camping to Cheddar we jumped at the chance.Except Andy.
Andy at the time was going out with a great girl called Crystal.
Crystal was a bit shy and timid,but had massive t*ts.
I think he thought we would be too mad for her,so they didn`t come.He was right.

The Cheddar Gang,Cox`s Mill,Sat 26 May,2001
The place were we where stopping was found by Kev and his brother Paul (now named Crowd Control,after his heroics at the Sareys gig the previous Saturday)

They had found a pub with a camp site out the back.

The Rodney Stokes Arms near Cheddar was the ideal choice for us p*ss heads.
I see a bad moon rising
So on Friday 25th May 2001 the advance party of me and Shani set off at 5am for one of the maddest weekends of our lives.
Shani started the madness by mooning at 7am when we reached the gorge.
I`m the King of the Swinger`s
After meeting druncken Duncan,the landlord,we set our tent up and proceded to drink.
After seeing England beat Mexico 4-0 we headed back to camp to meet the other`s.
Phil and Mich were the next to arrive,followed by Crowd control,his wife Mandy and Kev
The next 3 days were complete madness.It was one of the best holiday I`ve ever had.
Aha......Hilary and sherpa Woo-Sing reach the summit
First night madness set in and we stayed up until 3am.
We got told off by Druncken and several people left in the morning because of the noise.

Sod the cuppa...this is much better
Kev set the tone for the weekend by having lager for breakfast.
I went completley blokey and refused to shower.From there on I was know as Cheddar nob man.
C`mon Dawson...we`re going to the pub
We terrorised the village.Cox`s Mill,the Riverside Inn and the Galleries all got to know our faces over the next couple of days.
Teenage??Mutant Hero Turtle`s
The turtle twins and the long lost ape of Cheddar all made appearances over the weekend.
We also befriended a herd of cow`s in the field behind us.
Every morning they came to watch the strange hungover,human`s who seemed to be trying to talk to them...bizzare
What key is this song in Kev?
We saw a great band on the Saturday nite and made their evening so good that the lead guitarist gave us a lift back to camp in his transit.

While Phil and Mich went and done civilised thing`s in bath,we all went to the great seaside resort of Weston-Super-Mud....It just seemed like a good idea at the time.
Great barmaid on the pier though.

Funked Out
By the third day we were all in need of some seroius re-hab,but we had a great time.

Bonded In Beer
Although this episode did`nt invovle music it was quite important.
Us lot bonded over that weekend and became even closer.
Andy was always complaining about being left out and some of those feeling`s can be traced back to this weekend.....

Hey...he had the chance to go

The good time`s did`nt last forever...we were becoming rock n roll star`s and some of us let it go to our heads
